1. Who is responsible
Loopa is provided by Bajtica, Anže Šuštaršič s.p., Slovenia. For privacy questions or requests, email support@loopawithlumo.app.
2. Information stored by the app
Loopa can store your first name, loops you choose to track, start dates, check-ins, momentum, milestones, urges, triggers, coping activities, reflections, morning pledges, reminder preferences, and related app settings. By default, this information is stored only on your device and is not sent to Loopa or to an advertising or analytics provider.
3. Apple Health
If you explicitly grant permission, the Glow version of Loopa can read today's step count, exercise minutes, and mindful minutes from Apple Health to provide personal encouragement inside the app. With separate write permission, Loopa can save a completed Mindful Reset of at least one minute as Mindful Minutes.
- Apple Health access is entirely optional.
- Loopa writes only completed Mindful Reset minutes and only after you grant write permission.
- Health data is processed on your device.
- Health data is not used for advertising or marketing.
- Health data is not included in Loopa's iCloud backup.
You can revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings or in the Health app.
4. Optional private iCloud backup
Glow subscribers may choose to back up Loopa data to their private iCloud database using Apple CloudKit. The backup can include loops, check-ins, urges, pledges, and app preferences. It excludes Apple Health data, Face ID settings, biometric information, and subscription details. Apple operates iCloud under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Face ID and notifications
If you enable app lock, iOS performs biometric authentication. Loopa receives only the success or failure result and never receives or stores your face data. Reminder and milestone notifications are scheduled through Apple's notification system based on the preferences you choose.
6. Purchases
Glow purchases and subscription status are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Loopa does not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock purchased features.
7. Sharing
Loopa includes an optional social sharing feature. A progress card is shared only when you deliberately use the iOS share sheet and select a destination. Loopa does not automatically post or send your progress.
8. Website data
This website does not use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking. Its hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Email messages you send are retained as needed to respond and provide support.
9. Retention and deletion
On-device information remains until you remove it or delete Loopa. Deleting the app removes its local application data, subject to normal Apple device backups. Optional iCloud backup data remains in your private iCloud storage until you remove the backup or associated app data through the available Loopa or iCloud controls.
Because Loopa has no user account and does not receive your local tracking data, we generally cannot identify or delete that local data for you. You may contact us to delete support correspondence or ask for assistance.
10. Children
Loopa is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has contacted us may request deletion of that correspondence.
11. Security and international processing
Loopa uses Apple platform security features and minimizes data transmission by design. No system can guarantee absolute security. Website hosting or email support may process limited technical or contact information outside your country with appropriate provider safeguards.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information held by us, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise an applicable right.
13. Changes
We may update this policy as Loopa changes. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
